I research, monitor the news feeds, utilise local and international wire services, interview experts, attend events, coordinate with individual media sources, search, select and prioritize content. I also develop and execute the brand's social media strategy, including creating and curating content, scheduling posts, and tracking data analytics. With a flair for script-writing and visual storytelling I leverage digital tools and involve the use of text, images, sound, video clips, graphics to tell newsworthy stories in an engaging way. I am a digitally connected individual who is passionate about storytelling and always worked in a continuous newsroom operation, with an aptitude and desire to learn more.
