Claim your profileI currently work as a multimedia journalist and a digital anchor at KXAN in Austin, Texas. I joined the news team there in June 2018. Before coming to Austin, I spent four years at KJRH, the NBC station in Tulsa, Okla. I began there as a multimedia journalist, then received a promotion to anchor the weekend morning newscasts. I won a Heartland Emmy award in 2018 for my reporting on a destructive tornado that hit Tulsa. I went to Oklahoma after spending more than two years as a video journalist and fill-in anchor at KAIT, the ABC affiliate in Jonesboro, Ark. I began my professional journalism career as a reporter and producer at 6News Lawrence, a cable station in Lawrence, Kan. I attended Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in Evanston, Ill. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in journalism in 2010.
