I am a journalist and freelance writer born and raised in Colorado. I cover a lot of local news on topics from local agriculture to local government, EMS, music, art, events, beer and brewing, cannabis, cuisine and a lot more. But I also have a deep passion for the outdoors, adventure and travel. My work has won a number of awards from the Society of Professional Journalists Rocky Mountain Chapter, my column has been nominated for an AAN award and several of my articles have been featured on Longreads.
