Hi, I'm Victoria, and ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved telling stories. I first enjoyed crafting poems and soon fell in love with reading (after doing a book report on Nancy Drew). I’ve always been curious about how language shapes thought, defines narratives, and influences perception—especially having grown up in a trilingual household. Currently, I’m a Culture Editor at BuzzFeed. But before getting into digital media, I studied physics and English at UCLA. While some think they’re disparate subjects, I appreciated that both involve conceptualizing creative and abstract theories. When I’m not surfing the world wide web, I’m exploring new places (IRL), cracking my friends up (prepping for my Netflix special), and practicing martial arts (I have a first-degree black belt in kenpo karate).
