Mostly however, I reported on news of the day, and helped do small investigative pieces, with the occasional fun feature story to use my full storytelling and editing skills.I helped break key developments in ongoing, big-interest investigations -- like one involving a couple who owned a funeral home where 191 bodies were found decomposing in Fall 2023 -- a story my station broke to the nation. My extensive reporting led to me being featured in an HBO documentary, whih highlighted and explored many angles of the unthinkable tragedy for dozens of families. I was a part of winning submissions for the Colorado Broadcasters Association, Regional and National Edward R. Murrow awards, and have recently been Emmy-nominated as well. Prior to my time in the Centennial State, I worked as a weekday news reporter and weekend sports anchor at WICZ Fox 40 News, in the Greater Binghamton Area from August of 2021, through May of 2023.In my time with WICZ, I covered: news, sports, filled in for weather for several months on weekends, covered breaking news, and produced weekday, as well as weekend broadcasts. In May of 2021 I graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a Major in Sport Media, and minors in Journalism, as well as Sports Studies.
