Hi! I'm Ty, a recent graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington where I pursued a Bachelors degree in Journalism. I'm currently the city reporter for The Olympian, located in the capital city of Olympia, Washington. Previously, I worked as a Pulliam Fellow at the Arizona Republic in Phoenix, Arizona, for the summer, covering investigations and environmental news. I worked at the Indiana Daily Student student newspaper for four years in positions such as photo editor, managing editor and city reporter. I have work published in the Oregonian, Times of Northwest Indiana, Herald-Times and more.
