Claim your profileI am a seasoned journalist with extensive experience across television, radio, print, and digital media. As a TV anchor, reporter, and producer, I crafted compelling news stories and delivered them on-air. My broadcasting journey continued as the co-host of a morning drive radio show on 970 AM, where I initiated the award-winning WDAY Honor Flight project. This initiative aimed to send WWII and Korean War veterans to Washington, D.C., at no cost. Through our first four flights, we successfully raised nearly $700,000 and transported around 700 veterans, all while leading efforts to recruit major donors. In 2010, I transitioned to digital media, contributing to Forum Communications' digital platform, Areavoices. I developed lifestyle columns and videos, including "The Great Indoors" and "The Scoop with Tracy Briggs," and produced sponsored content projects. Currently, I write "Back Then with Tracy Briggs," a column focused on historical narratives, and I host a podcast by the same name. Additionally, I contribute to The Vault, our true crime platform, where I produce stories and podcasts exploring historical true crime cases.
