Tom is a task-driven, detail-oriented writer, reporter, editor, manager and multimedia journalist. At The Deal, Tom currently leads a team of veteran and training business journalists tracking down auction and pre-M&A scoops across the financial services, technology, media, consumer, retail, healthcare, energy and industrials sectors.Beginning with a first-class education from West Virginia University's Persey Isaac School of Journalism and culminating in several years of multi-faceted newsroom roles, Tom has developed an extensive understanding of what drives the newsroom in the digital age. Tackling various challenges, including reporting, editing, multimedia production, photography and videography from the onset of his career, Tom has grown comfortable juggling several coinciding responsibilities and seeking creative solutions to create groundbreaking multimedia journalism.
