Tom is a senior editorial strategist in arts and culture at CHANEL, the leading luxury fashion house.Prior to CHANEL, he was an award-winning journalist with a specialism in arts, working most recently as the Museums Editor of The Art Newspaper and as an Associate Lecturer at University of the Arts London.He has contributed print features to The New York Times, The Financial Times, The Guardian, The Observer and The Telegraph among others. As a broadcaster, he has appeared on the BBC, ITV, Tortoise Media and Monocle Radio.As a curator, he co-created Together, a month-long exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London, and launched the inaugural public exhibition Portrait of Britain with the British Journal of Photography.As a lecturer, he has developed and delivered modules on communications, editorial strategy and press relations for contemporary artists.He won Writer of the Year at the PPA Awards 2020 and Specialist Writer of the Year at the PPA Awards 2019 and 2021 for his work with The Royal Photographic Society.
