Claim your profileI have more than 20 years experience as a reporter and editor. I’ve covered various beats but mostly — and now only — law enforcement. I graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia but found I had to leave the city to get a job in my field. I landed at a weekly paper in the DC suburbs and then climbed my way back to the city through larger and larger papers, learning and growing on the way, ultimately making it to the Big Apple. I work out of "the shack" at NYPD headquarters at 1 Police Plaza and am the paper's day assignment editor on Sundays. Never give up.
