Claim your profileI'm an award-winning reporter at Bloomberg Law, where I cover judicial nominations and diversity on the federal bench. My career spans housing, criminal justice, business, legal affairs, grassroots activism and government reporting. I first cut my teeth at the Miami Herald and magazines in New York's Hudson Valley before making the jump to national reporting. In college, I was a race, justice and politics correspondent at The River Newsroom and a senior editor of Vassar College's student newspaper, The Miscellany News.My career is driven by my passion for documenting the impacts of policy decisions on people's everyday lives. This passion stems from my experiences with the U.S. immigration and education systems. I'm fascinated by U.S. racial politics as an immigrant from Jamaica, where I emigrated from at the age of 5. As a proud Vassar College graduate, I'm grateful for my studies at the intersection of race, law and policy, and how they've informed my reporting ventures.
