Claim your profileTaylor Stevens is currently working as an investigative reporter at KSTU FOX 13 in Salt Lake City as part of the Journalism Journey Initiative, a national program that redeploys the skills of experienced print journalists into broadcast newsrooms.She previously spent two years working as a freelance reporter with The Associated Press' Global Investigations Team on the "Lethal Restraint" project, a national investigation into deaths that occur after police use deadly force that wasn't meant to kill. The project was named as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Investigative Reporting in 2025.She also worked for nearly five years as a senior politics reporter at The Salt Lake Tribune, where she covered all levels of government and the way the policies elected officials approved — or rejected — impacted everyday Utahns. Her work has earned multiple awards, including for her ongoing coverage of homelessness and for her team investigative reporting on the state of Utah's response to the coronavirus pandemic. She was also named the Utah Society of Professional Journalist's Best Newspaper Reporter in 2019. Taylor holds a master’s degree in investigative journalism from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
