Claim your profileI'm Taylor Holt. I'm a Chicago-born and raised woman with a gift for storytelling through multiple platforms. I am currently an award-winning Morning News Anchor and Reporter at KMOV/First Alert 4 in St. Louis, Missouri. I've been in this role since 2021. In that time, I've been able to help revamp a weekend morning show that is uniquely successful in this market. I've also been able to use my skills, knowledge and passion as a Yoga Instructor to create my own sponsored segment, sharing the practice with others. The segment is called "Tranquil Time with Taylor". I also produce stories for another sponsored segment focusing on health and wellness. Before this position, I was an Anchor/Reporter in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Duluth, Minnestoa before that. I received my Bachelors in Journalism from DePaul University, where I started my TV News career, but my passion for writing and journalism began much further back. I started at a young age creative writing and writing poetry before shifting my focus to news. Growing up in Chicago, I had the opportunity to be the Chicago youth reporter for a New York based media outlet, doing interviews and exploring the issue of gun violence in my city and intertwining my own personal connection to the issue. In my current position, I report on a wide range of topics from community issues and political news to entertainment and lifestyle reporting. I have a special interest in health and wellness, as well as entertainment/lifestyle news. Being able to meet and connect with people, learn from the endless experiences in my career and create new ones, and become more aware of the issues going on in our world motivates me everyday. I am always looking to broaden my experiences in becoming a more well-rounded journalist.
