Claim your profileTamara started her career in public radio before she was old enough to drive. 4 cars and hundreds of thousands of miles later, she is the Sacramento Region Reporter for KQED. She is also host and senior producer of B-Side Radio, a public radio program and podcast. She's also worked as the State Capital Bureau reporter for KPCC (Southern California Public Radio), as a general assignment reporter and sometimes host at WOSU in Columbus, OH and as the Central Valley Bureau Correspondent for The California Report. As a teenager, Tamara was a regular essayist for NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday.
