When you get a text from your boss that says, " stop by my office," or a friend texts you to call her-- many people (myself include) are quick to be overcome with anxiety and think "what did I do wrong?" "Are they mad at me?" This idea of anticipating the worst and feeling guilty or worried about some phantom thing is a common type of anxiety and I am not sure if it has a name, but I would love to get some input on it. Please send your name, credentials, a link to your website and answer to the following questions along with anything else you may want to add: 1) Does this anxiety have a name? 2) What are common reasons that people feel this way? 3) How can people combat it once it starts? 4) How can people recondition their brains to NOT feel this anxiety in the future? 5) anything else?
