For the past decade and a half, I have been very focused on the Indian technology industry. Two years ago, I started a page called Times Techies in TOI to capture the extraordinary progress in the industry, the extraordinary people behind it, and to help engineering students and young techies understand how they can excel in this industry. The page is today a much valued part of TOI. We added a weekly Times Techies Webinar about a year ago. A number of companies are now partnering with us on the webinar to talk about technology trends. My first love was economics, and that love affair continues - still a keen follower of global and Indian macro-economics.
