Claim your profileI am the author of Forensics, Fossils and Fruitbats: A Field Guild to Australian Scientists (CSIRO Publishing, 2011). This is a collection of profiles of Australian scientists from all scientific fields and many stages of their careers.I write part time for I Fucking Love Science, and am interested in public speaking opportunities about science, or writing that does not contradict my work at IFLS.It has been suggested to me that I might be of assistance to researchers writing grant applications, particularly where they need to make their work comprehensible to non-specialists. I have not yet had the opportunity to test my capacities at this, but am eager to try.I am also a director of Above Quota Elections, the leading provider of electoral services to university student organisations. We also administer internal elections for other non-government organizations, and are always interested in new work.
