Claim your profileI have nine years of journalism experience, including at editor level. Prior to being an editor, I was an award-winning court reporter, covering the most serious cases in Yorkshire and regularly challenging reporting restrictions. Career highlights include winning an award for my coverage of the biggest grooming gang prosecution in the UK to date, my Twitter thread about far-right activist Tommy Robinson's 2018 imprisonment going viral and appearing in a BBC documentary and a BBC podcast about a fatal police shooting and drug gang turf wars. I also contributed to the UK government's first National Action Plan for the Safety of Journalists.
