Steef-Jan has extensive experience in the cloud and DevOps sectors. He has been a Principal Consultant for Team Rockstars IT since February 2025. With a focus on integration platform implementations, AI, Azure DevOps, and Cloud Solution Architectures, Steef-Jan has been recognized as a Microsoft Azure MVP by Microsoft for fifteen consecutive years. Throughout his career, he has proven his expertise by working with clients across diverse industries and taking on multiple roles at various consultancy firms, highlighting his versatile skills and dedication to his profession. In addition to his consulting work, Steef-Jan has a long-standing association with InfoQ, where he has contributed for over seven years in various editorial roles. He began as a Novice Editor in October 2017 and progressed through Junior and Senior Editor positions before becoming the Veteran Editor and Cloud Queue Lead Editor in April 2021. His responsibilities include reviewing articles, approving news items, and mentoring new editors. The InfoQ platform aims to support software developers by promoting knowledge and innovation in the enterprise software development community. Steef-Jan plays a key role in its cloud editorial team.
