I’m an editor and writer with over 15 years’ experience in print and digital media, including significant management and start-up experience with global companies.I moved to India to be a journalist in 2005. I’ve recently returned to New York City, bringing with me a rich network of writers, strong team building and problem-solving abilities, a keen editorial eye, and a unique international perspective.I’ve led and been part of editorial teams at print and digital platforms in New Delhi and New York. These include VICE, The Caravan, Time Out, Travel & Leisure/Departures, Khabar Lahariya, National Geographic Traveller and the Indian Express. I have significant experience launching new editorial products, packaging content, and editing/researching long-form and book-length projects. I also write on a variety of subjects, including food, culture and the arts, technology and social change, Indian politics and policy, literature, travel, the South Asian diaspora, and the city of Delhi.I grew up in the Washington D.C. area. I studied anthropology and theory at Swarthmore College, and journalism at Columbia University.
