Claim your profileI am the co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Continent, Africa’s most widely distributed newspaper, with subscribers in 130 countries. I have spent most of my career as a foreign correspondent, reporting on the world from an African perspective and for African audiences. In 2022, I was shortlisted for the One Young World International Journalist of the Year award, and was named as one of New African magazine's 100 most influential Africans in 2021. I was previously the Africa Editor for the Mail & Guardian, and have served on the boards of the Foreign Correspondents Association of Southern Africa and the Adamela Trust.
