I am a 40 year old dedicated, hardworking and level-headed individual who is passionate about all forms of media, with a proven track record in creating content for various mediums including radio, television public relations, online publications and print.My strengths are: Assertiveness, good interpersonal skills, resilience; passionate and enthusiastic; an excellent speaker and writer; I pay attention to detail; deadline orientated, and a strategic thinker.I am a committed individual who is level-headed; I have excellent communication and writing skills, as well as a good command of the English and Zulu languages. I have a database of prominent media contacts as well as an eye for newsworthy issues. I have a wealth of experience in covering stories of any beat and liaising with news sources from all walks of life. I currently work as a Senior Business and Technology Journalist with ITWeb, a business and technology online publication. My duties consist of researching and producing written business and technology news articles, news gathering and reporting, identifying and sourcing expert guests for interviews. My duties included identifying and securing expert guests for live and pre-recorded radio interviews and researching of latest trends in the political, business and socio-economic sphere.
