Claim your profileI'm a recent grad from the University of Oregon with a BA in Journalism and a minor in Korean. I started writing professionally my senior year of high school when I joined the team at EnVi Media where I was a contributing writer for over four years, writing for the Music and ACT!ON columns. In the fall of 2023, I was promoted to Junior Managing Editor. I help coordinate pieces, copy edit, format, and publish on-site articles. Additionally, I was a member of the Government and Community Relations team at the University of Oregon as the Student Communications Assistant, where I helped create and execute social media posts that advocated for higher education, students, and their families. I joined the 88.1 KWVA News Team during my senior year at UO. I reported mostly on local events and issues, including transportation changes and campus opinions on current events. In May of 2025, the UO Student Workers union went on strike, and I joined the union's communications team as a media liaison, social media creator, and political outreach strategist, where I helped with crisis communications amid swiftly changing conditions and changing community reactions. I'm highly experienced in journalistic writing, with a specialty in covering large events such as awards shows, for which my writing was recognized by one of South Korea's largest entertainment companies, SM Entertainment. My K-pop expertise not only influences my own writing, but can also be found quoted by the BBC.
