My love for creating started at a young age. As a competitive dancer, I developed a passion for storytelling through movement and artistic expression.This then led to my academic interest in communication at the University of Southern California through the Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism. I also earned a minor in the Entertainment Industry with USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. There, I channeled my interest in storytelling through numerous screenwriting classes and my role with Annenberg Media, USC’s independent news source.I have worked as a Multimedia Journalist for USC’s Television and Radio broadcast and contributed to my school’s digital magazine, Neon.My curiosity in learning more about the world around me spurred the course of my journalism career. Acting as a voice for the community and a mediator in storytelling is what makes this passion so rewarding.
