Claim your profileI'm a senior photo editor at National Geographic, where I commission and curate visual stories for the magazine, the website, and social platforms. I focus on stories about science, the environment, history, and place, and I manage the publishing for photography online. My writing about photography has been published by NPR, The Washington Post’s The Lily, Fast Company, and Broccoli Magazine. My work as both a writer and editor has received several awards, including Edward R. Murrow Awards, Pictures of the Year International, and National Magazine Awards. I've served on various photography competition juries, portfolio reviews, and panels, such as the New York Portfolio Review, the Bronx Documentary Center, the International Center for Photography, Northern Short Course, and College Photographer of the Year. I would love to hear your story pitches. My email is samantha.clark@natgeo.com.
