This has included reporting on the ground from United Nations climate talks in Scotland (COP26), Egypt (COP27) and the United Arab Emirates (COP28).Sam’s written work often focuses on European corporates in the oil and gas, renewable and automotive sectors, as well as the state of play in the energy transition.Sam’s on-camera reporting with the digital video team has included writing and presenting a series of short documentaries on issues such as climate risks in the real estate sector, Big Tech’s “thirsty” AI boom and the degrowth movement.Prior to joining the team in Oct. 2016, Sam worked as a Broadcast Journalist in Latvia and Switzerland.
