These have included the Rwandan Genocide, Somalia's civil war and famine since 1991, the US war in Afghanistan since Tora Bora, the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003 and subsequent civil war and chaos, Isis occupation of northern Syria and Iraq and subsequent defeat.
