Claim your profileWith over 15 years of experience in media and public administration, I bring a unique blend of storytelling, operational excellence, and civic leadership to my work. My career began in journalism, where I covered national and local news as a digital content/field producer and produced commercial spots for U.S. presidential candidates, honing my skills in crisis management and clear communication. These experiences have deeply informed my approach to public service and government operations. Currently, as the Media Program Director for the Town of Tyngsborough, MA, I lead a team managing Tyngsborough Media and oversee the town’s Public Affairs Division and public access channels. I’m responsible for over 800 hours of municipal board meeting coverage annually and developing a 15-year digital video archive that serves as a critical resource for public transparency. My role is rooted in advancing technology, from expanding meeting rooms with IP technology to launching a mobile app and modernizing the town’s website for better user experience and ADA compliance. I’m passionate about driving strategic initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of residents. This has included transitioning to virtual meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic, upgrading IT infrastructure, and developing the Tyngsborough Civic Leadership Academy, a nine-week course designed to foster residents’ understanding of local government. My work in public administration focuses on improving service delivery through technology, meaningful community engagement, and fostering strong cross-departmental collaboration. Collaboration has always been at the heart of what I do, whether it’s working with municipal departments, boards, or community groups. I’ve also had the privilege of working with organizations such as the Nashua, NH Cable and Television Advisory Board and the National Association of Black Journalists for the Boston Chapter, where I champion newsroom diversity and public access television funding. I’m excited to bring my extensive experience in municipal operations, media production, and strategic planning to an executive-level role, where I can continue to make a lasting impact in public service.
