After spending more than 20 years in print journalism -- 13 of those as an award-winning editor in the Orlando Sentinel's sports department -- I made the decision to move my career to online. Things move fast on the Internet -- and I quickly went from being a humble podcaster to Senior Online Editor to Breaking News Editor for print and online to Associate Managing Editor for Online at the Sentinel. Since one of my earliest jobs as a videotext (remember that?) editor for AP NewsPlus, I've been fascinated by news technology. Now, I am helping chart the course for journalism's digital era -- and bringing everyone along for the ride.
