After interning and freelance reporting at the Hartford Courant, I was hired by WFSB in 2005. I've been working there ever since. I started as a writer (associate producer) and worked my way up to producer in 2007. I've worked on every show WFSB put on the air at one point. I've produced the 5 a.m., 6 a.m., 7 a.m., noon, 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 11 p.m., weekend morning and weekend evening broadcasts. I've also produced a number of breaking news cut-ins involving plane crashes, hurricanes, school shootings, lockdowns, election results and a blizzard. I accepted an opportunity to work on the digital side of news in January of 2014, when I became Editor of Digital Content/Content Producer for WFSB.com and its social media accounts. In 2021, I earned an Emmy for Outstanding Breaking or Spot News. In 2022, I was promoted to senior contest producer, through which I had a hand in overseeing and contributing content to the majority of WFSB's digital properties.
