My journalism career has taken me to Michigan where I shared the stories from the Flint community as they dealt with lead water and North Carolina I formed a police beat at the station where I kept up with crime statistics for 6 law enforcement agencies. I am a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee where I earned a degree in Journalism and Electronic Media and minored in Political Science and Cinema Studies. I am a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists.
