Claim your profileI have almost 20 years experience as a journalist. I am an excellent communicator, cool under pressure and used to working to tight deadlines. I work equally well as part of a team or under my own initiative and am a competent team leader. I also have experience of taking control of a busy news desk - I worked as news editor on the Mid Cheshire Chronicle before I joined The Sentinel. I am a very strong writer and have excellent research skills. I have won a number of journalism awards over the years including North West Feature Writer of the Year 2016 and 2017 and Midlands Feature Writer of the Year, 2017.
