Claim your profileI'm a news reporter based in the Pacific Northwest with a passion for people and telling their stories!I'm experienced in hyper-local, solutions journalism covering everything from housing insecurity and local climate projects to breaking weather events and helpful service stories.Before relocating to Washington in 2022, I spent more than seven years on the Central Coast of California earning a degree in Journalism and working in live radio and television production, audio/video editing, social media management, announcing and news reporting.I'm honored to be an alum of the 2023-24 Poynter-Koch Media Journalism Fellowship. I was formerly a 2022 California Fellow with USC's Center for Health Journalism, spending six months reporting on the public health impacts of poor air quality on California's Central Coast.My work has been featured by The Seattle Times, KQED's The California Report, a California Newsroom climate special and in a BBC Radio 4 documentary. I've also been awarded by the College Media Association for my multimedia reporting, TV entertainment specials and viral videos.
