I'm also an adjunct professor at NYU's Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program. My first book, Poached: Inside the Dark World of Wildlife Trafficking (2018, Da Capo), took me to a dozen countries to investigate the multibillion dollar international illegal wildlife trade. My second book, I Feel Love: MDMA and the Quest for Connection in a Fractured World (2023, Bloomsbury), explores the science, history, politics and culture of MDMA.
