After college, I spent a year in D.C. working for the Osgood Center for International Studies. Afterwards, my journey took me to Japan, where I taught English for a year.Upon returning to the States, I took a job at Target, where I was soon promoted to Executive Team Leader. Eventually, I decided that retail was not my career goal, and I moved to Alaska. After a year doing seasonal work, I began writing as a news stringer for KTNA. I found that I greatly enjoyed the work. Writing radio news appealed to me a great deal, and when the News Producer position opened, I applied. The time since has been the most rewarding experience of my professional life.
