Claim your profilePeter recently left The Hollywood Reporter where he worked for fours years as the magazine's real estate & city editor. He is currently a regular contributor to Los Angeles Magazine. In addition, he's working on a non-scripted limited series. He previously wrote a pilot episode for Alcon Entertainment about Los Angeles in the 1970s. In 2012 he created, launched and oversaw the editorial direction of L.A. Currents, a digital publication that aimed to create smart, local independent content at a time of great and exciting change in Los Angeles. L.A. Currents catered to the civically engaged and the culturally fluent — both high and low. Peter was trained as a reporter in the early years of online journalism and has worked at several legacy publications on both coasts and on multiple continents. He credits his tenure at The Hollywood Reporter and later at the New York Sun with teaching him how to report more aggressively. He credits his two years working in the Rome Bureau of The New York Times with teaching him how to write with a tad more elegance.
