Claim your profileWHO I AM:I'm a radio host, journalist, and fiction writer.I host All Things Considered on GPB as well as the “Georgia Today” and “Narrative Edge” podcasts. These two podcasts are the most downloaded podcasts we offer. Previously I hosted All Things Considered at New Hampshire Public Radio. On Friday mornings, I hosted the "Weekly New Hampshire News Roundup" on "The Exchange,” a live hour-long conversation about the news of the week. I have worked in public media since 2007.By night, I'm a fiction writer and as of early 2025 closing in on the first draft of a novel. I am also the founder of the 501(c)(3) Burlington Writers Workshop and co-founder of the literary journal Mud Season Review. WHY I GET HIRED: I'm a skilled communicator and prolific generator of ideas. In addition to serving as a host of a reputable radio news magazine, I've reported short- and long-form stories for NPR member stations, the New England News Collaborative, and NPR. I've won multiple awards for my reporting. I function as a "utility" player, using my diverse skills to meet intellectual, technological, and creative challenges. I work well across departments, seek consensus when making decisions, enjoy managing projects of all sizes, and meet deadlines with time to spare.
