Claim your profileI have worked at Tradeship Publications for 24 years as an editor and journalist. I have enjoyed seeing how the cement industry has changed to become a leading sector in the fight to reverse climate change. The opportunity has given me the chance to travel internationally and meet many industry experts and to develop a detailed understanding of how cement is produced and distributed as well as its impact on the environment and everyday lives of people as the second most used commodity in the world behind water.Since June 2023, I have also been a volunteer for the National Trust as a House Experience Guide at Hatchlands Park in East Clandon. From July-October 2023, I had a part-time position at the National Trust as Welcome & Service Assistant at Hatchlands Park & Clandon Park in Surrey. This work has already improved my public speaking, restored my love of history and historic buildings, given me enjoyment of working with volunteers and is teaching me to help people volunteer ith disabilities. From Jan 2025 I have been a volunteer conservator at the Sir John Soane's Museum, London
