I am a nationally syndicated writer, director, and photographer based out of Charleston, South Carolina. My articles for WCIV, primarily covering local and national politics, crime, and more, have been featured on national news pages and social media for some of the biggest markets in the country, including New York, Seattle, Cincinnati, and West Palm Beach. I also had some of my work as a photojournalist during two hurricanes in 2024 featured on national ABC News and CNN broadcasts. I was born and raised in Charleston and have lived in West Ashley for most of my life. I accrued over 70 credit hours in Film and Television production at Trident Technical College before transferring to the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, where I acquired my Bachelors degree in Film and TV, with a minor in Dramatic Writing. With a focus on direction and dramatic writing, I gained an eye for creative, compelling storytelling that I have translated to work in news, branded content, and filmmaking, creating within me a unique vision and voice that has led to further the goals and success of my station, students, and clients. Coupled with my ever-evolving knowledge of SEO, digital content, and social media best practices, I have been an integral part of our station's growth online, particularly on YouTube, through working with my team to further optimize content to reach a larger, ever-growing national audience.
