Claim your profileI am the news editor at PRIME7, responsible for producing nightly local news services for Albury and Wagga, and managing a staff of 18 journalists and camera operators.My career in journalism began 30 years ago when I started a cadetship at The Mercury in Hobart. Since then, I have worked in newspapers, radio, television and on-line journalism. I also work as a casual journalist with ABC Radio.In my spare time, I like to write and am the author of four non-fiction books - The True Story of Ned Kelly's Last Stand (Allen and Unwin, 2012), In Search of Captain Moonlite (Allen and Unwin, 2013), Banjo, The Man Who Wrote Waltzing Matilda (Allen and Unwin, 2014), and The Claimant (Echo 2016).In 2008 I was lucky enough to work on the archaeological excavation of the Kelly Gang siege site and subsequently found a minor role as a producer on the television documentary, Ned Kelly Uncovered (Renegade Films).
