Claim your profileSince as early as I can remember, I've been mad about everything to do with cars. From filling scrapbooks with car pictures pilfered from mags and newspapers, to running around tyre shops asking questions when my parents were in for a new set on their car, to memorising the lighting signatures on every car so I could identify them at night...Combine that with a knack for writing from a young age, and it's that which has led me to writing and talking about cars for the past seven years, gaining experience in print, online, and broadcast media through experiences with companies operating in Australia and overseas. My journalistic career started in print with The Adelaide Hills Weekender Herald, and has since evolved into writing for numerous online publications including DriveTribe, Vehicle History, Finder, Supercar Blondie, and WhichCar among others. I currently serve as the deputy editor of the Retro Rides website and a contributor to Exhaust Notes Australia. In 2019, I founded the car review website Drive Section, which in 2024 evolved into the automotive adventure site Essential Drives. I have also been engaged in higher education work at the University of South Australia, completing the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) degree researching ways of developing a cohesive guidelines for immersive journalism storytelling through the use of 360-degree video and virtual reality technology. I have also taught and coordinated a range of the university's journalism and professional writing courses.
