Making complex conversations democratic is what I believe in and I do this by combining multidisciplinary thinking and trend-spotting with clear, lucid language. Interested in the evolving conversation around the future of media, tech-for-everyone, geopolitics of technology, ethics in AI, space, civil liberties, futurism, urban evolution, advertising of tomorrow, cycling and football. My first book Breach: Remarkable Stories of Espionage and Data Theft and the Fight to Keep Secrets Safe, was published by Penguin Random House in 2018. I'm a Chevening Cybersecurity Fellow and the recipient of the 2016 Prize for Economic Journalism in Asia awarded by the IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. I started my career in advertising and I was a strategist with Ogilvy & Mather. My previous journalistic stops include DNA and Fortune India.
