Claim your profileNick Wagner is a bilingual photojournalist based in Seattle. He is currently a staff photographer at the Seattle Times and is a 2017 graduate of Western Kentucky University. Nick is passionate about bridging the divide between the people he photographs and the communities that view his work. He journeyed alongside a migrant worker as he traveled in a cramped van some 72 hours away from his wife and kids in Oaxaca to a tobacco farm in Kentucky. He shed light on the destruction Texans faced after Hurricane Harvey made landfall. Nick recently published a multimedia project about the Sam Houston High marching band's quest to return to its pre-pandemic strength. His work has been recognized by the Hearst Journalism Competition, College Photographer of the Year, Society of Professional Journalists, the Alexia Foundation, and the Associated Press Managing Editors.
