Previously a journalist with online & print magazine Sync NI, covering business and technology across the region. I also created and hosted Sync NI's inaugural podcast, Tech Craic. I have multiple experiences freelancing with BBC News and BBC Sport NI, and am a regular contributor on BBC Radio Ulster, Blast 106 FM and Times Radio.I am passionate about sport and health, and am an amateur boxer, coach and Child Protection Officer at City of Belfast Boxing Academy. I also play Gaelic football with the East Belfast GAA ladies' team and previously co-hosted His and Hers Boxing, a weekly podcast on all things amateur and professional boxing.My previous by-lines include articles with Belfast Live Sport, Boxing Guru and Consumer Health Digest. I graduated top of my Masters degree in 2019 with a Distinction in Journalism and an NCTJ diploma from Ulster University. In addition, I won the NUJ Media Award & Belfast Telegraph Shorthand award 2019, and the NCTJ's Trainee Sports Journalism Award for Excellence in March 2020.Overall, I am an experienced writer with a demonstrated history of working in the online media industry. I also have a BA degree in English Literature and Linguistics from Queen's University Belfast.
