Claim your profileI work with the awesome team at C-SPAN as Political Editor, overseeing our coverage of Campaign 2026, 2028, and beyond. Our coverage reaches millions via our three cable networks, a radio station, and C-SPAN.org. Before that at C-SPAN, I worked as a producer for C-SPAN.org and our content producers team, helping cover Congressional hearings, political events, and policy discussions from Washington and around the country. I also produced a second season of our Landmark Cases series, and a special evening edition of our Washington Journal call-in program to cover the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before joining C-SPAN, I was a news writer with experience in policy, political, crime, and business journalism for some of the nation's largest daily newspapers, plus a policy publication and a couple of magazines. I reported on everything from tiny New England town meetings to national shakeups at Fortune 500 companies and some of the biggest political stories from the U.S. Capitol and the White House. I filed the first newspaper story via in-flight WiFi (thanks, Delta!) in 2008. My most memorable professional mistake: driving a Volkswagen to try and get quotes from striking UAW members at a GM factory in Detroit.
