As a seasoned journalist with over 12 years of industry experience, I have a proven track record of reporting on current affairs and social justice issues. I am the first Race Correspondent in the history of UK journalism, working for The Independent, where I highlight stories that affect people from marginalised communities. Before this, I was a News Reporter at HuffPost UK. I have earned multiple awards and nominations throughout my career. I also have a background in creative writing and public speaking, having completed a Bachelor's degree in English and a certification in Speaking in Public from the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
