I am a reporter covering HBCU innovation for The Plug, a subscription-based news and insights platform examining the Black innovation economy. I am looking at innovation and startups coming out of HBCUs as well as funding and initiatives that are being poured into them. I'm interested in the ways that HBCU students are shaping the future of tech. Previously, I was an associate producer with the CNN Digital Global Programming team, helping run the homepage of the #1 digital news publisher in the world. Before that, I was researcher with the editorial standards division at CNN World Headquarters.
