I have worked for three of the top ten P.R. firms in the world, Burson, Edelman and HAVAS, and gained corporate and crisis comms experience with a top 15 U.S. Corporation at Dow. I specialized in grassroots lobbying at two of the largest, most powerful trade associations in Washington, DC (NAA & NAM). Also, I am a National Press Club governor with 30+ years of membership in identifying NPC news sources and advancing heads of state. I served on the PRSA National Capital Chapter board last year. I provide strong contributions driving sales leads, branding improvements and revenue growth while maintaining conscious social responsibility. Other highlights from my career include: *Managing FEMA National Public Affairs Client Counsel for flood events (closed $120M PR account for Yes&). Earlier handled American Red Cross hurricane and disaster relief on the Public Affairs Rapid Response Team. *Serving as an Obama Administration Commerce Dept. political appointee from 2009-2014 on the international trade advisory council (ITAC 8). Advancing Sen. Obama on Obama for America 2008 in five key swing states, winning Iowa early. *Volunteering while serving as NAM Executive Director for the Clinton’s Administration White House Communications transition team and managed correspondence and scheduling for the President-elect. *Earning National Editorial Writing Awards from the University of Iowa, Dallas Morning News, Ragan Communications & PRSA’s Bronze Anvil for persuasive editorial content. *Obtaining the IABC International ACE Award for Software AG for global communications & P.R.
