Claim your profileAs a business reporter for the Miami Herald, I am fascinated with telling inclusive stories that reflect the diversity of the society in which we live. Over my career, I have reported on topics ranging from arts and culture to Black business, tech and real estate. As a graduate of Temple University, my work has appeared in publications such as ESPN’s Andscape, Okayplayer, EBONY and NPR affiliate WHYY. When I am not writing, I am an avid music lover and enjoy discussing my Panamanian heritage. I am skilled in journalism, reporting, research, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media and other related areas. I have a native fluency in Spanish and have also received training from the Poynter Institute, Maynard Institute, Report For America and Solutions Journalism Network.
