Claim your profileI started my journalism career 20 years ago as a print reporter in Ottawa, Canada, working for several years for Canada's largest chain of newspapers. I expanded my skill set to reporting on digital and broadcast platforms and I currently focus on live reporting in the field for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. I can also be heard on CBC's national radio broadcasts on a regular basis. I have expertise in covering breaking news, having worked as a wire reporter and web writer for several years, and now as a live reporter on CBC News Network. I go where the news is, and bring it to our audience live and on location. I also have a specialty in covering politics. I have covered Parliament Hill in Ottawa, I worked in Washington, D.C., (I covered the election of Donald Trump) and now I frequently cover provincial and municipal politics in Toronto. I have also reported from Hong Kong, leading one of CBC's pop-up bureaus there in 2013. I have a passion for knowing what's going on in the world, and sharing that information as widely as possible.
